Every Thursday from 6 to 8 pm the tables move back and the little stage comes out. Slots are ten minutes: two songs, a few poems or a story.

  • Sign up on the visit page by Wednesday night.
  • We confirm your slot by e-mail.
  • We have a small PA, a microphone and a guitar stand.

First time? Come and listen first: decaf is on us for performers.

Wild blueberry season is here

Every August the wild blueberry barrens down east turn blue, and every morning since we opened the same muffin has sold out first. Wild Maine blueberries are small, intense and sweeter than the big cultivated kind, and they hold their shape in the oven.

We bake at 5 am. Order one ahead and it is waiting for you.

Why we roast on the light side

People sometimes expect a harbor coffee shop to serve dark, smoky coffee. We roast lighter, and here is why: coffee is a fruit, and a lighter roast keeps the sweetness and the flavors of where it grew.

Our Harbor Blend tastes of milk chocolate, red apple and honey. Our espresso goes a little darker for caramel and cocoa, because milk likes that. Neither ever tastes burnt.

Try a bag of Harbor Blend and taste the difference.
