Our story

A coffee shop in an old sail loft

Ledgeline opened on the Belfast waterfront with one roaster, three people and a lot of blueberry muffins.

His order: whatever is on the pour-over bar

Why Ledgeline

Named for the coast

A ledge line is the line of rocks that shows at low tide along the Maine coast: the sailors’ landmark for coming home. We wanted a place that feels like that for Belfast: steady, warm, and always there in the morning.
