The roastery

Beans roasted on the harbor

We roast small batches on a 5-kilo drum roaster in the back room every Tuesday and Friday, so the beans you buy are never more than a few days old.

Brew guide

Great coffee at home

Use 20 grams of coffee for 320 grams of water just off the boil, grind like coarse sand, and pour slowly for about three minutes.

Keep the beans in the bag, away from light, and grind just before you brew. Ask us at the bar and we will show you.

How we choose our coffee

Small farms

We buy from importers who pay farmers well above the market price and name the farm on the bag.

Light to medium

We roast to taste the coffee, not the roast: sweet, bright and never burnt.

Fresh, always

Every bag has its roast date. We never sell beans more than three weeks old.
